It includes themes such as changes in land use, community organisations, public amenities such as banks, library, theatre and municipal hall, iwi revitalisation, impacts of war, schools, churches, hospitals. Industry, people who had an impact on the town. The exhibition follows our earlier exhibition about the town from 1843 – 1920 and covers the period when the Ōtaki Borough Council was operating.

The exhibition opens to the public Friday 15 May, and thereafter our usual opening times of Thursday – Saturday, 10am – 2pm.
